The Position

Qualiteach have a great opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant who’s available immediately on a full-time basis. This position is on offer in a mainstream Primary school, but you will be based in the SEN provision. Within the SEN provision you will be working with and supporting pupils from Reception to KS2, so you must be comfortable and confident in working with all Primary school year groups. You will be working with pupils with different types of SEN, learning difficulties and challenging behaviour so it’s important you very experienced with all of these. Qualifications are preferred for the role but aren’t essential.

The School

The school has a Primary and Secondary school, but the SEN Teaching Assistant will be working with Primary aged pupils. The schools between them have 1620 pupils. The school achieved a “Good” rating from Ofsted back in 2022.
