The Role

 

I am working with a SEN school based in Wandsworth that are looking for a new SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team! In this role you will be working in key stage 3 classes with students with complex needs, learning difficulties and autism. You must have strong SEN knowledge and experience working with different needs, you must be an approachable, enthusiastic and nurturing person with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and students. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you must support children with their learning and will be working under the direction of the class teacher. To be considered for this role you must have experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school and working with Special Educational Needs.

The school is a complex needs school based in Wandsworth that caters for students aged 2 – 11 with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, Autism and complex needs. The school provides an exceptional learning environment that meets the needs of all pupils, while empowering and inspiring all members of their community to achieve their full potential. The school is local to a national rail train station and has many local bus routes.
