The Role

 

I am recruiting for a SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Hackney from September 2025. You will be teaching a small primary ASD class of 5-6 children, some of whom are non-verbal. The ideal SEN Teacher will have a QTS/QTLs, experience working with ASD and complex learning needs, the ability to differentiate lessons and use visual/sensory strategies to support learning, strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing approach. A SEN Teacher with TEACCH or SCERTS training will be highly desirable, also a mainstream SEN Teacher looking to transition into a SEN school will be considered
