A specialist primary SEMH school in Greenwich is looking for a resilient and empathetic SEMH Primary Teacher to join their dedicated team from September on a permanent contract. This school provides a structured, trauma-informed approach to learning and supports pupils aged 5–11 who have experienced significant barriers to education.

With a low pupil-to-staff ratio, outstanding training provision, and a strong team ethos, the school offers a safe, nurturing environment where both students and staff are empowered to grow. Each class benefits from consistent teaching assistant support, a consistent behaviour policy, and access to mental health specialists on site.

 

As an SEMH Primary Teacher, you will:

** Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, many of whom have faced disrupted learning

** Deliver a balanced curriculum focused on personal development, social skills, and core academic subjects

** Work closely with therapists and pastoral staff to ensure a wraparound approach to care
