The Role

 

I am working with a SEN school based in Lambeth that are looking for a new Primary SEN Teacher to join their team! In this role you will be teaching key stage 2 students across class 3,4, 5 & 6, you will be required to plan and deliver lessons while monitoring student progress. As a Primary SEN Teacher you must have strong curriculum knowledge and be an approachable, efficient and nurturing person with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and students. In this role you must report any safeguarding concerns to the designated safeguarding lead, and you will be working closely with the SENCO. To be considered for this role you must hold QTS and have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

The School

 

The school is a SEN school based in Lambeth that caters for children aged 5 – 16 years old. They hold therapy and a therapeutic approach at the heart of everything they do, understanding that if pupils feel emotionally and mentally well, they can play and learn effectively. At the school assemblies and extra-curricular clubs are provided at the end of every school day, and regular educational trips enhance the curriculum further. They have a local London Underground Station and many bus routes.
