The Role

 

I am working with a SEMH school based in Bromley that are looking for a new Maths Teaching Assistant to join their team! In this role you will be working with Key Stage 3 students in and out of class specifically in the Maths department, you must be an approachable, enthusiastic and confident person with the ability to build strong rapport with staff and students. As a Maths Teaching Assistant, you may be required to work on a one – to – one basis with students and must have strong curriculum knowledge. To be considered for this role you must have experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school and working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

 

The School

 

This SEMH school is based in Bromley and caters for students aged 11 – 13 years old. The school’s focus is on developing core skills of literacy and numeracy, whilst offering a broad range of other curriculum areas to provide real interest for their pupils. They have been awarded an overall effectiveness grade of Good with Leadership and Management being graded as Outstanding by Ofsted. The school has great transport links, and many local bus routes.
