The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with additional learning needs across various year groups. You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to deliver tailored support to students, both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

** Supporting students with specific learning difficulties, helping them engage in the curriculum

** Assisting with classroom activities, ensuring all students can access and participate in their learning

** Providing emotional and social support to students, helping them build confidence and resilience

** Working closely with teachers to implement individual learning plans and adapt lessons as needed

** Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting inclusion within the classroom
