The Role

 

I am working with a SEMH school based in Bromley that are looking to appoint a new KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team! In this role you will be working in KS2 classes across the school assisting the students with their classwork, you may be required to work 1:1 with students that require additional support. As a KS2 Teaching Assistant you must be an approachable person that can support students with their challenging behaviour in and out of class. To be considered for this role you must have experience working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and working as a teaching assistant in a school.

This SEMH school is based in Bromley and caters for students aged 11 – 16 years old. The school’s focus is on developing core skills of literacy and numeracy, whilst offering a broad range of other curriculum areas to provide real interest for their pupils. They have been awarded an overall effectiveness grade of Good with Leadership and Management being graded as Outstanding by Ofsted. The school has great transport links, and many local bus routes.
