The Role

Qualiteach are looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor who’s interested in working with children in KS1. The Behaviour Mentor will be working alongside a pupil who has challenging behaviour and disrupts the class. The role of the Behaviour Mentor is to support the assigned pupil on a 1:1 basis to ensure their doing their work, not disrupting the class and you’ll be following an individual educational plan. For this role, the Behaviour Mentor doesn’t necessarily need to have school experience as they can have experience that’s transferrable to this role.

The school was rated as “Outstanding” by Ofsted in February 2024. The school is a Community school that has 370 registered pupils. The school has a Special Needs Provision as well as Nursery classes.
