1:1 Teaching Assistant – SEMH School – Secondary – Hackney – £85 to £100 per day – Starting ASAP – Full-time

** 1:1 Teaching Assistant required for a SEMH School in Hackney.

** 1:1 Teaching Assistant available to start ASAP.

** 1:1 Teaching Assistant with caring qualities and an empathetic approach.

** Previous experience working with Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs or with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is essential.

The Role

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored care to a child within the age range of 11 – 17, some of whom have complex Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs, that requires a caring and patient 1:1 Teaching Assistant. Experience in a SEMH setting, as well as a background in sports coaching would be ideal for this role, helping to engage and motivate the child. Also, a background in tutoring is preferred, to help support the students’ academic success.
