1:1 TA – Southwark – £85 – £100 a day – Primary school – Full time – Start ASAP – Aged 2 to 11

The Role

Being a 1:1 TA, you will work under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO to deliver focused, individualised support to a child with Special Educational Needs. You will provide assistance with learning tasks, social interactions, and personal development, ensuring the child’s well-being and progress. You will be working with the child on a 1:1 basis to support their learning in and out of the classroom and adapting lesson materials and tasks to suit the child’s individual learning needs.

The school consists of 475 pupils, aged 2 to 11. They have strong values, through a knowledge-rich curriculum, engaging teaching, great relationships and strong partnerships, and they work hard to ensure that each child progresses through their time at the school. It is located in Southwark, where there is an underground station 5-minute walk from the school. The primary school was rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in September 2019.
