The Role

As a 1:1 Behaviour Mentor, you’ll be working with a highly intelligent student who has autism and is able to access the curriculum with ease. However, the student struggles with emotional regulation and may face challenges in managing their emotions. Your role will be to implement effective strategies that support the child’s emotional needs, while also offering intellectual stimulation and challenges to keep them engaged and progressing. You’ll provide consistent 1:1 support, helping them stay focused, develop coping strategies, and thrive in the classroom setting.
