The Role – Youth Mentor

For this Youth Mentor role you will be required to work with a KS3 class of 10 students who have been removed from a mainstream school due to their extreme behavioural needs. During the day you will be assisting them in the classroom with their core subjects like Maths, English and Science as well as other subjects. The ideal Youth Mentor for this role will need to have had previous experience working in a similar setting with challenging behaviour and ideally hold Team Teach or the equivalent.

The School – PRU

Found in the borough of Bromley, this PRU School caters for students aged between 11-16 years, with mixed gender classes. They were awarded an Ofsted rating of “Good” in December 2017. The schools main aim is to provide a strong commitment to supporting the students to achieve the best possible outcomes regardless of their backgrounds.
