The Role – Youth Mentor
Qualiteach are currently looking for Youth Mentors to start in a Pupil Referral Unit for September 2019. To apply for the role as a Youth Mentor you must in the first instance have experience working as a Youth Mentor within a Pupil Referral Unit. As the successful Youth Mentor, you will be responsible for helping the class teacher raise attainment, cover the class, run interventions and help with extra-curricular activities.
The School – Pupil Referral Unit Hillingdon
The client is a Pupil Referral Unit located in the London Borough of Hillingdon. The school’s community is very mixed, the pupils speak many languages and come from many different faiths and cultures. This is a successful school. OFSTED recognised this in their most recent inspection by awarding them “good” in all areas. The children are challenged to make rapid and sustained progress through excellent teaching and a tailored curriculum.
