The Role – Year 4 Teacher

Qualiteach are seeking a qualified Year 4 Teacher for September for a mainstream catholic primary school situated in Hackney. In order to apply for the role of Year 4 Teacher you must hold QTS or equivalent.

Within the class there will be one teaching assistant to help provide support where needed.

Children are generally well behaved although having the ability to demonstrate excellent classroom management would put you at a stronger advantage.

The school is a two-form entry catholic primary located in the London Borough of Hackney. The school capacity is around 420 students and the pupils come from a mixed multicultural background.

The staff in the school are extremely polite, warm and supportive. When new staff attend the school for the first time, other staff members are very consistent at making them feel welcome.

On their most recent visit by Ofsted in October 2016 they achieved “Good” in all areas. Pupils achieve well, particularly in writing and mathematics.

Pupils generally behave well and show positive attitudes to learning.
