Teaching Assistant Graduate Scheme – about the role:
Qualiteach are looking for hard-working Graduates who are eager to kick start their career in a new Graduate Scheme that we are putting in place with mainstream primary schools in the Borough of Hackney. The successful candidates will ideally be studying a degree in English, Maths, Childhood studies or Psychology and be on track to be receiving a 2:1 or above. You will be eager to learn, passionate and dedicated as well as having a vibrant, creative and engaging personability.
The role involves working within the classroom, assisting the Teachers daily needs and you must be able to adapt to different situations and environments. The ideal graduates will need to be extremely confident to lead interventions and working 1:1 with pupils that need extra support.
Your working hours will be 08.30-16.00 although additional hours may be required, such as after-school clubs and breakfast clubs. The staff and SLT are on hand to support all members of staff and are happy to offer guidance for their Graduates, excellent career progression is also offered such as Teacher Training courses and other opportunities.

The school and staff are all exemplary role models to the students and pupils feel happy and safe in their learning environment. The head teacher is extremely supportive and ensures her staff are valued and appreciated. The school has a close-knit community, and everyone is very welcoming and friendly. Your working hours will be 8am – 4pm Monday-Friday.
