The role – Teacher of the Deaf
For this Teacher of the Deaf role, you will be based in a provision in an outstanding primary school in Lewisham. The provision currently has 13 students who are all in the provision full time. Ideally you will hold a Deaf Education qualification however it’s not essential. For this Teacher of the Deaf role, it is essential that you have experience teaching hearing impaired students and hold a minimum of BSL Level 2 and are a fully qualified teacher.

The School – Primary School in Lewisham
This primary school is found in the heart of South East London, in the borough of Lewisham and is easily accessible being just a short walk from 2 train stations. This school is a large primary with over 600 students and is a three form-entry school with a Nursery and Deaf Provision. They were reviewed in their Ofsted as outstanding in 2017 and since having a new headteacher join this year have only made outstanding improvements.
