Special Needs Teaching Assistant

For this Special Needs Teaching Assistant role you will be required to work with a small class of 6 students aged between 7-11 years with Special Educational Needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, ODD and more. You will be assisting them in and out of the classroom with their reading, writing and during playtime throughout the day. The ideal Special Needs Teaching Assistant for this role will need to have had previous experience working with children or young adults with SEN needs, this does not necessarily need to be in a school setting.

SEN School

Found in the borough of Waltham Forest, this SEN School caters for students aged between 4-16 years that have Special Educational Needs and all students have an EHCP. They currently have 185 students on role and in their last Ofsted in 2017, they were reviewed as ‘good’ in all areas.
