The School – Special Needs Teacher
This Special School strive to deliver high class education and learning to their pupils aged 11-19 years that have varied complex needs. They are found in the London Borough of Southwark making it very easily accessible from anywhere in London via public transport or car. In April 2015, this Special School were reviewed as Outstanding by Ofsted and have only continued to improve year on year. Led by a strong SLT you will be joining a school that are devoted to their staff and are keen to offer career progression to staff at all levels.
The Role – Special Needs Teacher
In this Special Needs Teacher role based in this outstanding Special School you will be required to teach students in KS3 or KS4. These students are working on P Levels up to Level 2 and there are on average 8 students in each class. You will teach the school’s curriculum that is a built and tailored approach around the UK National Curriculum in order to meet your student’s needs. Therefore, you must have the ability to accommodate your lessons to meet the individual needs of your students to achieve progression both academically, socially and physically.
