SENCO / SEN Co-Ordinator – The Role:

You will lead, develop and manage a high standard of provision for learners with additional educational needs. You will be committed to ensuring that the standards of attainment are high and that students make accelerated and sustained progress.

The successful candidate will develop the specialist provision for students with identified SEND, support teachers to differentiate their lessons and ensure that the legal and statutory requirements are met for students with AEN. You will hold (or be working towards the completion of) the National Award for SENCO and have a detailed working knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and experience of delivery within this framework. This would suit an experienced SEN teacher looking for their first management role.

SENCO / SEN Co-Ordinator – The Role:

This mainstream, non-selective, secondary school caters to a cohort of 1418 girls from the local area. Receiving a GOOD Ofsted in 2017, their aims is to achieve OUTSTANDIND in their next Ofsted. At nearly full capacity this school is a first choice for most local students and parents.
