As the Successful SENCO, your responsibilities will include Assessing needs using a range of assessment tools including dyslexia screening, Liaise with outside agencies and teachers, Involvement in assessment and progress of all SEN pupils, attending pastoral meetings to plan for vulnerable pupils, oversee the provision mapping throughout the school, teach a ‘set’ of Year 6 pupils working well below age expected levels, attending the Local Authority panel and local cluster groups, report to Governors and overseeing the timetabling of SEN support staff and monitor progress.
To apply for the role it is essential that you hold the National SENCO qualification and have experience as a SENCO.
