The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant
For this SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be required to work in a small class of 6 students in KS2, they are a mixed ability group and are all boys. The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant must have previous experience supporting children with challenging behaviour, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, ODD and more, this does not necessarily need to be in a school setting.
The School – SEMH School
Found in the borough of Southwark, this SEMH School caters for students aged between 5-19 years, which have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. They currently have 90 students on role and in their last Ofsted in 2019, there were reviewed as ‘good’ in all areas.
