SEN Teaching Assistant – The role:
The school are currently seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Teaching Assistant to join them in September 2019 and assist with students in a range of year groups. The ideal candidate will need good team working skills and previous experience of working with young people. You will be required to demonstrate positive behaviour, have a calm and understanding approach and have patience when supporting the children. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be guiding and instructing students in the work that has been left by the department or class teacher.

This mixed primary school based in the London borough of Lambeth caters to 650 students aged 3 to 11 and pride themselves on providing a safe and caring atmosphere for students. The school has its own children’s centre for babies and toddlers from 6 months old and there is also a nursery for children from 3 years old. The school is a 3-form entry and has shared work among teachers in year groups.
