The Role – SEN Teacher
For this SEN Teacher role you will be required to deliver lessons to students aged between 11 – 16 years with Complex Needs. These students disabilities will range through severity but you will be mainly be teaching students who are Visually-Impaired. Some of the students you will be teaching will be working towards their GCSEs and others will be learning functional skills. The ideal SEN Teacher for this role will need to have previous experience teaching students who are Visually-Impaired and also be able to plan and deliver lessons to GCSE Level.

Found in the borough of Bexley, this Complex Needs School has a three acre site with indoor and outdoor facilities to cater to the needs of their students who all have Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. They currently have 130 students on role aged between 2-19 years and in their last Ofsted in 2018, they were reviewed as ‘outstanding’ in all areas.
