SEN Support Worker
For this SEN Support Worker role you will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with a young boy who has severe Autism and is Non-Verbal, you will be required to communicate using PECs and Makaton. You will be assisting him in and out of the classroom as well as assisting him with toileting and feeding. The ideal SEN Support Worker for this role will need to have had previous experience in a similar setting and a can-do attitude.
Found in the borough of Bexley, this ASD School caters for students age between 11-18 years who are on the Autistic Spectrum. They currently have 80 students on role and each child have their own EHCP. In their last Ofsted in 2017, they were reviewed as ‘outstanding’ in all areas.
