The Role – SEN Maths Teacher
In this SEN Maths Teacher role you will be required to either teach students in KS3 or KS4. These students are working on a range of levels including functional skills, GCSEs, ASDAN and BTEC courses. Your class sizes will vary, with a maximum of ten students and you will have the support of two trained teaching assistants at all times. For this particular role, the SEN Maths Teacher must be a fully qualified teacher with UK QTS or QTLS and must have UK teaching experience. Furthermore, you must have very strong written and spoken English, as well as being an articulate individual; this is simply due to the nature of the students that you will be teaching. Preferably, you will be Maths trained with a Maths related degree, as well experience teaching the Maths UK curriculum.

The School – SEN Maths Teacher
Based in the South London this SEN School caters for students with a wide range of needs including SEMH, ASD, and Speech, Language and Communication needs. Students are aged between 11-18 years and the school are a large part of the local community. They are located within walking distance of a Train station and are very accessible from local bus routes. The school currently have 150 students on roll and class sizes are of around 6-10 students. This SEN School work on a purpose-built curriculum that is tailored specifically to meet their student’s needs as well as to prepare them for the world and life beyond school.
