The Role- SEMH Teaching Assistant

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant you’ll be working with a range of different needs so you must be able to adapt at any given time. The ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant must have experience working on 1:1 basis and with small groups. As an SEMH Teaching Assistant in KS3, you will need to patient, resilient and able to build strong relationships with your students.

The School- SEMH School

Based in the heart of Wandsworth, this school cater for students between the ages of 5-19 who have an Education Health and Care Plan for SEMH needs. They have an allocated Art Therapist specifically for their Secondary students which aims to provide the young person with a creative and practical way of learning. With just under 100 students, they tend to with small groups or an a 1:1 basis to teach functional skills.
