About the role – Science tutor
I am currently working with this mainstream secondary school who are currently looking to appoint a science tutor to start with them this September. The successful science tutor will be required to run small interventions for underachieving students who are coming up against barriers with their learning. The ideal science tutor will have a science related degree with experience working with students alongside the AQA syllabus at GCSE level.
About the school – Science tutor
This mainstream secondary school based in the east London borough of Newham cater to students aged 11 to 16 with a total of 248 students on site. This small school is constantly looking at ways that they can grow their team and expand the skillsets of their staff. The school was most recently graded good by Ofsted back in 2017 after opening as a new school back in September 2014. With just a short commute from London City Airport, the School is easily accessible by public transport and also includes onsite parking.
