The Role – Art Teacher – Pupil Referral Unit
For this Art Teacher post you must ideally have experience teaching students with special needs and challenging behaviour or on the other hand have a passion to take a step into a Pupil Referral Unit. You must also have experience teaching up to GCSE at a high standard. You must be open to teaching another subject as this may be required by the school. For this Art Teacher role, you will always have additional classroom support from teaching assistants however you must have strong behaviour management skills as well as a creative approach to teaching to take it on effectively.

Found in the leafy outer London Borough of Bromley, this Pupil Referral Unit cater for students in both KS3 to KS4. This is an urgent role that needs filling for a January 2020 start. This Pupil Referral Unit caters for students that have been temporarily or permanently excluded from mainstream school. This Pupil Referral Unit make it their goal to improve student’s behaviour, attitude and attendance with a long term aim to transition all students back into mainstream education.
