Newly Qualified Teacher – About the role
As a Newly Qualified Primary Teacher within Waltham Forest, you will be given a personal mentor who will be on hand during your induction year. If you have completed your induction year, you will have a Teaching Assistant within the class. This TA will help provide social development and attainment. You will be teaching a full timetable within a KS2 class which has 28 pupils and two special needs pupils. The Special Needs pupils will be supported by an SEN Specialist.
The Headteacher wants to meet with trainee teachers who are looking to secure a long term position within a thriving school. To be successful you would have been graded as GOOD or better in your recent observations. As a Newly Qualified Teacher, you will have the ability to plan engaging and creative lessons, and provide effective differentiation for those students who may need additional support.
