About the role – Maths teacher
I am working with this secondary school in Southwark who seeking to appoint an inspirational and committed Teacher of Maths. You will join a supportive, enthusiastic and collaborative team from 06 January 2020. Applications are welcomed from teachers of Maths who have experience of teaching at KS3 and KS4. Ideally this candidate will start working with KS5 students too. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to raising standard are essential. The successful candidate would be joining the school at an exciting time. They have recently been judged “good” by Ofsted and they are an oversubscribed school for September 2019, with numbers increasing throughout the school on a weekly basis.
About the school – Maths teacher
I am working with a school who prides themselves on being a thriving community that is welcoming of students of all faiths and those of none. Staff and students value the distinctive nature of its Christian ethos to which every member of its community contributes. It celebrates the differences that define it as well as the common humanity that unites all its members. The value system and ethos of the school is inclusive of all within a strong Christian ethos, characterised by the quality and openness of the positive relationships between students, staff and the wider community. These are foregrounded in our lessons but also in our extra-curricular offer, ranging from sport and debating to charity work and peer mediation. The school is a 7 minute walk from Canada Water station and has excellent transport links from the city.
