Maths Teacher – The role:
The school are currently seeking a dedicated Maths teacher to join its faculty be a part of a family school. The teacher must be personable and a team player who is eager to build a good rapport with colleagues and students. You must be able to enable student’s development whether it be knowledge, skills or character and have a vision of excellence for the school. This post would suit an NQT or a more experienced colleague looking to broaden their experience. You must hold QTS, have excellent subject knowledge and be able to teach Maths up to KS4.
Maths teacher – The school:
This is a mixed secondary school in the borough of Southwark and caters to 1200 students aged 11 – 18. The school is known for its high performing students and high attainment rates amongst faculty and students. Its students perform exceptionally well across all EBACC subjects at GCSE and is in the top 10% of schools for its A Level performance. This year, 76% of its students in Year 11 gained a standard pass or above in both English and Maths (grade 4 or better). At A level, 50% of all Year 13 students gained at least 3 A levels with A* to B grades, and 100% of all level 3 BTEC grades were at Distinction or Distinction*.
