Maths Graduate – about the role:
Entry Requirements for a Secondary School Teacher Trainee:
- A 2:2 degree or higher in a relevant discipline
- Previous experience working with pupils aged from 3-11
- GCSE grades C or above in English and Maths
- Residence in the UK for the past three years (consecutively)
- The ability to inspire and motivate secondary school students
A fully funded and paid route into teacher training that offers QTS at the end of the academic year. As a Maths Graduate, you will be given the opportunity to teach the year group that you feel is most suitable for you whilst receiving the support and guidance from experience teachers who will assist in your training.
This is a 1 year-long programme that will see a Maths Graduate gain experience and confidence in the classroom from day one. You will have a mentor through Qualiteach and will also receive off-site training days and a support network of experienced educators.
