The Role – Learning Support Assistant

The role of the Learning Support Assistant is a long-term, full-time role supporting year 4 students with their studies in the classroom. the role of the Learning Support Assistant is for a charismatic, passionate support assistant with extensive experience working with SEN students. The role is for an immediate start and for a highly academic support assistant with recent experience supporting KS2 students. As a KS2 support assistant, you will need to have an enhanced DBS on the update service and be available for the next academic year. To be considered for the LSA post, you must have an enhanced DBS on the update service, experience working in a school and strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.

The school is in East London, in the London Borough of Waltham Forest and is a large primary school catering for over 800 students aged 4-11 years old. The school is split across two sites and has parking onsite for staff. The school is an Ofsted rated “Good” primary school.
