The School – Learning Support Assistant
This beautiful special school is located in South East London and provides high class education and is dedicated to its students. This special school cater for students that are aged between 3-19 years that have a range of needs including those on the Autistic Spectrum and with Severe Learning Difficulties. It is very accessible via public transport and the school also offer weekly training to all staff as they are very dedicated to keeping their staff up to date.

The Role – Learning Support Assistant
In this Learning Support Assistant role based in this outstanding Special School you will be required to support your class teacher in all aspects of the school day. The students you will be supporting will be in either primary or secondary and they will have varied needs including ASD and SLD as well as challenging behaviour. Class sizes are of around 8-10 students and the age groups in class will vary as well as the ability levels of your students. It is your job to motivate pupils and ensure they are engaging and enjoying their lessons. Ideally you will be degree educated and also have experience and knowledge on support pupils of different age groups that have special needs.
