The Role – Learning Support Assistant
The successful Learning Support Assistant will be required to provide ongoing support to a student within a year 3 class. It is essential that you have at least two terms experience working as a teaching assistant or behaviour mentor within a mainstream primary school.
Experience in raising attainment would be a huge advantage. You will help support with extracurricular activities, cover the lessons in the teacher’s absence and help support with the planning and marking.

The client is a two-form entry mainstream primary school situated in the London borough of Islington. The school were reviewed as “good” in all areas of their latest Ofsted report and the two-form entry school have ambitions of achieving “outstanding” next time around.
Behaviour is generally good within in the school. Pupils have a wonderful relationship with staff which creates a fulfilling and joyful environment to be in on a daily basis. Three members of Qualiteach have gone on to permanent contracts since joining.
