The role – Learning Mentor

I am working with a mainstream primary school based in Barking & Dagenham that are looking to appoint a Learning Mentor for a September start. The suitable candidate for this role will need to assist the teacher in running the class and will need to work closely with the students, you will be working in a mainstream primary class of approximately 25 mixed students across Key Stage 2.

For this Learning Mentor role, you will need to work 1:1 and in small groups with the students and must have great interpersonal and organisational skills with a passion for learning and teaching! You must build strong rapport with the students and have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service with 6 months or more experience of working in a school environment.
