The Role – KS2 Primary Teacher
You must be a fully qualified teacher that holds QTS or QTLS and has experience teaching the UK National Curriculum, both KS1 and KS2 and ideally also experience with EYFS due to the vaired ability levels in the class. There are currently 8 students in the class and the support of 3 TAs, one student has 1:1 support at all times. Due to the nature of the role, you must be a KS2 primary teacher that has outstanding behaviour and classroom management skills with a fun approach to learning.
The School – SEMH (social, emotional and mental health)
Located in the heart of Lambeth, not far from three train stations, this SEMH school cater for students between the ages of 3-11 years that have social, emotional and mental health needs and all students have an EHCP. The school offer ongoing CPD to all staff throughout the year and the headteacher believes it is essential that all staff have a good work life balance which has resulted in better teaching and learning across the school. This was specifically highlighted in their Ofsted in 2016 where they were rewarded as ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted.
