About the Role – Humanities Teacher
This mainstream secondary school based in the London borough of havering cater to students aged between 11 and 16 where the successful Humanities teacher will be required to teach GCSE students in preparation for two 1-hour and 45-minute exams upon the AQA syllabus in a specialism of choice out of History geography and Religious studies. The successful candidate will be required to teach all Humanities subjects across key stage 3 in preparation to choosing subject at GCSE, ideally the successful humanities teacher will have experience teaching alongside the AQA syllabus supporting progression in academic achievement at GCSE (A-level would be a bonus!) At Key Stage 4, all students are expected to complete 1-2 hours’ worth of homework per week.
