The Role – Science Teacher

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an already excelling science department helping to improve and help shape the schools goals having the best possible results. The role involves teaching students ranging from KS3, KS4 & KS5 in chemistry, biology and physics. As a Head of science you will have the responsibility of leading an experienced team of science teachers implementing new ideas and improving results within the department. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, forward thinking, outgoing character willing to help students inside and outside of the classroom. Having a real passion for science who is able to keep up with the schools views and morals of a high quality of teaching and pastoral care.

This school is a mixed comprehensive secondary school based in Enfield which has year on year received an outstanding review by Ofsted. The school caters for students aged 11-18, it is over capacity showing the competition in the area for entry every year! The school has top of the range facilities for science making it a fun and exciting lesson of choice from reviews from students. Last year the schools results where above the national average for all major exam boards at grades 9 to 4 including the award of 32 grade 9s attained by 19 pupils.
