Graduate Teaching Assistant – about The Role

To proceed with the Graduate Teaching Assistant Position, it is vital you are a graduate holding a relevant degree of 2:1 or above. Core subjects, psychology and sociology and humanities are all favoured within this school due to the importance of supporting pupils in the highest year group. The school are seeking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant that will have strong A-Levels as well as ‘c’ grade or above in GCSE Maths, English and Science. The successful Graduate Teaching Assistant will be assisting with setting up and clearing up of lessons and ensuring the classroom is organised and tidy at all times. You will be taking on responsibilities such as leading 1:1 session with students who require more support as well as running booster groups with reading and writing in the lead up to their exams before leaving the school. No experience is necessary however it is essential that you have a strong passion for working within the education sector.
