About the role – English supply teacher

I am currently working with a number of secondary schools based in East London who are using cover teachers on a day to day basis and also in block booking for absences. The ideal candidate will be someone who is available to work at short notice while having the ability to manage a classroom effectively. The English supply teacher will be required to teach English in the absence of the classroom teacher while having the opportunity to gain experience in different secondary schools based in East London.

Requirement – English supply teacher

• The ideal candidate will be a QTS or QTLS trained teacher who has experience teaching English or other subjects in a secondary school.
• They will be required to successfully follow school policies and make effort with other members of staff in the school.
• The successful English supply teacher will need strong behavior management with the ability to build rapport.
• Must be highly organized and comfortable with change.
• Must also have a valid DBS or be willing to complete one
