***English Graduate Teaching Assistant required in a Pupil Referral Unit
***English Graduate Teaching Assistant based in Southwark
***English Graduate Teaching Assistant with a 2:1 or above in an English related degree
***English Graduate Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management skills
***Ideally will have experience with children or in youth work etc.

The Role – English Teaching Assistant

For this English Graduate Teaching Assistant role you must hold an English related degree, ideally you will have a 2:2 or above. Ideally you will have previous experience working with challenging young people, this role is based in a PRU so students will have challenging behaviour therefore it is essential that you have strong behaviour management skills. This PRU are looking for an English graduate to join their team ASAP, starting as a teaching assistant to then transition onto teachers training in the English department.

The School – English Teaching Assistant

This Pupil Referral Unit is found in the London Borough of Southwark and caters for students from KS3 up to KS4. The school provide learning to pupils that have been excluded from mainstream school and most present challenging behaviour. The main aim of the school is to facilitate and support the successful reintegration of pupils back into mainstream school.

This is an ideal role for a English graduate that is looking to gain experience prior to teachers training as it will ensure that you will improve and enhance on your behaviour management skills and prepare you for the challenges you may face as a teacher.
