Cover Supervisor – about the role
Qualiteach are currently seeking an experienced teaching assistant for an exciting opportunity as a Cover Supervisor to start ASAP. As the successful Cover Supervisor you will be required to provide ongoing support to students across KS1.
The successful candidate will have experience working as a higher-Level teaching assistant within a mainstream primary school.
Experience in raising attainment would be a huge advantage.
It is the responsibility of the teaching assistant to provide support to the class teacher throughout the academic year. You will provide support with extracurricular activities, cover the lessons in the teacher’s absence and help support with the planning and marking. The Cover Supervisor Position is to start in September on a 1 Year Initial Contract

The school were awarded “good” in their latest Ofsted report and aim to improve on by achieving “outstanding” The school is part of a federation that strives for excellence. Behaviour is generally good within in the school and pupils are results are above the national average. The school have limited parking for car drivers. If you don’t drive the Homerton overground station is just a short walk from the school.
