The school is based a short distance from East Ham station which is easily accessible via District and Hammersmith & City line. The successful Chemistry teacher will be required to hit the ground running, teaching tailored schemes of work created by the successful head of department. About the school – Chemistry teacher

This oversubscribed, good mainstream secondary school based in the heart of Newham cater to students between the ages 11 and 16 with a SLCN and ASD unit in place to support students with SEN needs. The school have a reputation for looking after staff where a number of schemes in place to support a better work life balance, the school support each member of staff with a lower than average teaching loads where each teacher is treated as a specialist therefore isn’t required to teach cover lessons outside of their subject specialisms. Each teacher is given efficient time to do their job properly including co-planning sessions throughout the week to make planning and marking more time efficient allowing teacher to focus on other aspects on teaching and learning.
