The Role – Behaviour Teaching Assistant
For this Behaviour Teaching Assistant role you will be required to support a small class of 10 KS2 and KS3. All of the students you will be working with will have been excluded from a mainstream school due to their behaviour or mental health needs. Therefore, the ideal Behaviour Teaching Assistant will need to have previous experience with challenging behaviour, this doesn’t necessarily need to be in a school setting.
The School – PRU
Found in borough of Southwark, this PRU caters for students aged between 7-18 years that have been temporarily or permanently excluded from mainstream education. Their main aim is to improve students’ behaviour, attitude and attendance so they are able to continue their education back in a mainstream school.
