The Role – Behaviour Teaching Assistant
For this Behaviour Teaching Assistant role you will be required to work with a small class of 9 students in KS4 all with challenging behaviour. You will be assisting them within in the classroom with their Maths, English, Science, Physical Education and Vocational Courses. The ideal Behaviour Teaching Assistant will have previous experience working with challenging behaviour and be physical intervention trained this does not need to have been in a classroom setting.
The School – PRU
This PRU is based in the London Borough of Bromley and caters for students between the ages of 7-18 years. They currently have 100 students on role that have all been excluded from a mainstream school due to their behaviour. The schools main aim is to turn around their students attitudes towards education to then be able to enrol them back into mainstream education. In the last Ofsted back in 2017 they were reviewed as ‘good’ in all areas.
