For this ASD Lecturer you will be required to teach a class of 10 students who are on the Autistic Spectrum and are non-verbal. All the students are working on pre-entry national curriculum framework with functional Maths and English included throughout. You will have constant support from 4 Teaching Assistants who will support the students during the lessons and will also help with the behaviour management. The ideal ASD Lecturer for this role must have previous experience working with a child or adults with Autism and hold a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
Found in the borough of Richmond upon Thames, this ASD College caters for students aged between 19-25 years who are on the Autistic Spectrum. They currently have 80 students on role and in their last Ofsted in 2017, they were reviewed as ‘good’ in all areas.
