Are you a Behavioural mentor with specialist experience?
Are you a Behavioural mentor available to work in the Hillingdon area?
Are you a sports focused Behavioural Mentor?
Are you patient and methodical in your approach to Behavioural issues?
If the answer is “YES” the above Behavioural Mentor role is for you.
The specialist SEN school in the Hillingdon area is focused on supporting pupils aged 11 to 19 with moderate Learning difficulties and associated complexities. The school accommodates approximately 100 KS3/4 students (approximately 60 KS5 students) and a restricted group size to ensure each student’s pathway and program is individually catered for and supplements this with a strict teacher-to student ratio. All pupils are post ECHP. It is located near excellent public transport links with limited staff parking in place.
The ideal Behavioural Mentor will have had previous experience of working with students with severe behavioural issues and come from a school background where challenging behaviour is part of everyday school life. The role would require you to work 1:1 with a KS3 student from a troubled background with heightened challenging behaviour issues. A sports background would be an advantage but not essential.
