The Role

Qualiteach is working with a dynamic and inclusive educational institution, committed to providing high-quality education for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We believe in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of our students. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEMH English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to students with SEND, ensuring an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities:

** Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEND.

** Assist with creating and implementing Individualised access plans for students with diverse learning requirements.

** Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and academic success.

** Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure effective communication and a holistic approach to student development.

** Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND.

** Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to both students and parents.

Qualifications:

** Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

** Specialisation in English or a relevant subject.

** Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.

** Knowledge of different learning styles and effective teaching strategies for students with SEND.
